Modern architecture

My first project for this year is about modern architecture. I chose to focus on this because on numerous trips to London I noticed the different shades of blues and greys in the sky being reflected on the big expansive windows. When I took a visit to Paris in the Summer I went to the Pompidou Centre, a place I have always wanted to see I liked the bold lines of colour and wanted to include this in my work too. This started off my project experimenting with shapes and what I could achieve on a loom.

I was really excited to begin this new warp. up until now this year I have been using white which I do like using but I really enjoy dying colours that I can then use in my samples. I really like the mix of white and blue and the vibrant lines of red that stand out over the blue.
